The Qur’an by its definition: perfect style, poetic beauty and pure language, in the time of its publication or after it, until present days, has got beyond the works of all the writers, novelists and poets. During the 14th century, the Qur’an has kept the authority of the most beautiful and richest in thoughts book, which satisfies and pleases the most beautiful part of the human being, the mind and heart equally, with its beauty of expression and great thoughts.
The Qur’an is the most read book in the world. The reciting (learning) of its surahs and ayats can never make you bored, no matter how often they are repeated. If we learn or listen to the Qur’an carefully and thoughtfully, it will lead us to a greater state of the mind where we strongly understand the meaning of our lives. The Qur’an is not prose or poetry. It is a mixture of prose and poetry together, a form of literary work which is not common in the Arabic world.
In the words of the Qur’an we feel the beauty and perfection of the style which awakens our most delicate feelings but the truth is the final goal. With its theory in the past fourteen centuries and even today, the Qur’an represents a great challenge to the experts in different fields, especially the sociologists who are interested in this book because of its teaching which sees the man as a person and the human community as entity. The sociologists are especially interested in the entity the Qur’an pleads for, where the justice, freedom and mercy are the basic ideas, where there are no privileges for anyone, where everyone has the right to religion and conscience because any form of forcing to believing or non-believing is strictly forbidden.
