I present you this method of learning Arabic alphabet now in print version. In this book you can find a 500 years old method of teaching the Arabic alphabet in Europe and it contains twenty-two lessons and exercises providing a quality learning of the Arabic letters. This method has been used for centuries in Islamic educational institutions in Bosnia, and it is currently used by thousands of children and adults who master the pronunciation and writing of the Arabic alphabet in a short period of time.

Buying the book you accept T.O.S. of UniBook

The experience has shown that 10-12 years old children need several weeks to master all the lessons and after that they are able to read the Arabic letters fluently, especially the texts in the Qur’an.With the help of these lessons you are going to learn the shape of each letter, its position at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the word, and the correct pronunciation.

This book is especially good for Arabic language teachers and Islamic religious clerics in mosques who teach the Arabic and Qur’an alphabet or lecture the Arabic alphabet at home.

Arabic Alphabet for Kids

Arabic Alphabet for KidsConsidering that it is very difficult to learn and master the Arabic alphabet you must be wondering what is the best way for children to learn the Arabic alphabet. It is complicated to give an answer to that question without a detailed analysis and experience in teaching children. It is certain that there are many methods and techniques to learn the Arabic alphabet in the world and in the following few paragraphs I will try to show you the method I, as a teacher, have used with my students for the last ten years and which has been used in my country for centuries.
We use this method when working with children and we use it with adults too, it is excellent for beginners. The base characteristic of this way of teaching and learning the Arabic alphabet for kids is learning through lessons; you can find 22 lessons on our website and in every lesson, starting from the first, you learn new letters (harfs) which are colored red and in that lesson we have combinations of the harfs we have learnt previously. In the lessons you are going to learn the shape and position of each and every letter, how it looks at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of a word and also the shape of the letter when it is alone i.e. isolated.
The most important thing with these lessons is that they also have sounds, so when you click on a letter or word you are going to hear their correct pronunciation. I have personally taught tens of children and adults using this method and together with my colleagues in the last few years we have taught several thousands of children and adults in our region. This method requires you to start with the first lesson and to master every lesson before you start learning the next. When the child masters one lesson then we start with the next using textual explanations and after that the sounds from the lessons. It is recommended to have an older and experienced person to listen to the child at first and point out the eventual mistakes. In the next part you can see a video of my students who have learnt the Arabic letters with the help of these lessons…

And now you can see how fluently and with proper intonation my students read the Qur’an, which Is in Arabic and every Muslim should know to read it…

It is our duty to follow the Qur’an

Ramadan is the month in which the Qur’an was revealed as guidance to man and clear proof of the guidance, and criterion (of falsehood and truth)“. (El-Bekare, 185)

The Qur’an is definitely the book with greatest wisdom, a book being studied and memorized the most, a book by which rules people live and work today. It is a book that contains the principles of Allah Almighty who offers its followers only what is best for them.

The Quran is the source of our faith, i.e. the spring we all drink form, which gives us more strength and determination to succeed in our obedience to Allah Almighty. If we ask ourselves why a large number of Muslims disobey the rules of th Qur’an, why is their faith weak, the answer is in the attitude of the Muslims towards the Qur’an. The Muslims, at least the majority of them never read the Qur’an. Many Muslims whose native language is Arabic can’t study the Qur’an properly and by the Tajweed. The ones whose native language is Arabic don’t event try to learn it. Those who have learnt it, don’t read the Qur’an because they „don’t have time“. People who read the Qur’an can be divided into several groups. There are people who read the Qur’an but don’t understand it. There are other people who read it and make their voice sound more beautiful so others can hear it, without even thinking about the meaning of what they read. There are few people who study the Qur’an and think about its meaning. There are few of them who read the Qur’an while their hearts tremble and the eyes are full of tears.

Let’s hear brothers and sisters how the Qur’an makes us think about it. Allah Almighty says:

“Do they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradiction.”

A Pharaoh mentioned in the Quran

There are many scientific wonders in the Quran. These wonders deepen our belief and make us proud of our religion. In 1981-82 the French government requested Egypt to send them a mummy named „Mummified corpse“ of the pharaoh found in the sea, to do some research.

The Egyptian government agreed and sent them the mummy for which the French president and his government have made a welcome ceremony. The mummy was then transported to a research lab where many scientists welcomed it, and each of them was an expert in a different field of research. Morris Bokay was in charge of the research team. He was interested only in the way the pharaoh died and how the body remained intact even after 1000 years. He was focused on these questions and after numerous tests and research he decided to have a press conference to make his discovery public. Someone from his team has asked him about the discovery he wanted to announce and he gave the following explanation:
“I will tell the world that the pharaoh was suffocated and that the body was preserved so well thanks to the small particles of sea salt that entered the body through his skin. These particles cannot be seen with a naked eye.”
His coleague told him not to hurry with the announcement because the Muslims believe and claim that their Holly book, Qur’an, has mentioned that. When he heard that, Morris said: „That’s impossible. How can their old book mention something which requires a complex (modern) tool to discover, and even 200 years ago? No way. How can a 1400 years old book discover that fact? That’s impossible.“
Moric started to study the Thorah and the Bible. When he didn’t find anything he took the Quran. There he has found an ayat which explains the given topic:
“This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!” (Yunus, ayat 92.)
Morris shouted: „IMPOSSIBLE! 14 centuries ago God has sent Mohammad with this ayat? Amazing!
Then he said the great words: „I testify that this is a Book of God, not of men.“ Because it is impossible that Mohammad could have known this fact. He was inspired by God who knows everything: „the past, the present and the future“. He said: „I believe that these are words of God.“
After that he went to Egypt to study about Islam at Al-Azhar (may Allah save Azhar for all the Muslims) and after many years of study he said even greater and more significant words: „I testify that there is no other God but Allah and that Mohammad is his Messenger and I testify that the Qur’an is a word of God.“
(90) We took the Children of Israel across the sea: Pharaoh and his hosts followed them in insolence and spite. At length, when overwhelmed with the flood, he said: “I believe that there is no god except Him Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am of those who submit (to Allah inIslam).”
(91) (It was said to him): “Ah now!- But a little while before, wast thou in rebellion!- and thou didst mischief (and violence)!
(92) “This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!” (Yunus, 90, 91, 92)

Land and Sea in the Quran

Proportion of the land and sea surface in the Qur'an

If we observe the Quran from a mathematical point of view we are going to notice that the construction and mumerology of the Qur’an is really astonishing and it really makes an impression to the wise ones. One of the mathematical wonders in the Qur’an is the fact that the surface of the land and sea on our planet is given very precisely.
Allah almighty in the Holly Qur’an uses the term (bahr) SEA for 32 times which is often used for other water surfaces like lakes and rivers. The word (berr) meaning LAND is mentioned for 13 times by the Allah. If we sum up these two numbers we get the number 45.
Here we discover the percentage ratio of these two words in the Qur’an which completely corresponds to the ratio of the land and the sea, which can be checked in any encyclopedia. And now we see that the word “sea” (bahr) in the total number of words (sea and land) is: 2/45 x 100% = 71.11111%, which represents the surface area of the water compared to the land on the Earth. And the word “land” (berr) in the total number of words (sea and land) is: 13/45 x 100% = 28.888%, which matches the percentage surface of the land in the whole surface of our planet, and this is just one of the numerous mathematical wonders in the Qur’an.

Miracle of Quran

The Qur’an by its definition: perfect style, poetic beauty and pure language, in the time of its publication or after it, until present days, has got beyond the works of all the writers, novelists and poets. During the 14th century, the Qur’an has kept the authority of the most beautiful and richest in thoughts book, which satisfies and pleases the most beautiful part of the human being, the mind and heart equally, with its beauty of expression and great thoughts.
The Qur’an is the most read book in the world. The reciting (learning) of its surahs and ayats can never make you bored, no matter how often they are repeated. If we learn or listen to the Qur’an carefully and thoughtfully, it will lead us to a greater state of the mind where we strongly understand the meaning of our lives. The Qur’an is not prose or poetry. It is a mixture of prose and poetry together, a form of literary work which is not common in the Arabic world.
In the words of the Qur’an we feel the beauty and perfection of the style which awakens our most delicate feelings but the truth is the final goal. With its theory in the past fourteen centuries and even today, the Qur’an represents a great challenge to the experts in different fields, especially the sociologists who are interested in this book because of its teaching which sees the man as a person and the human community as entity. The sociologists are especially interested in the entity the Qur’an pleads for, where the justice, freedom and mercy are the basic ideas, where there are no privileges for anyone, where everyone has the right to religion and conscience because any form of forcing to believing or non-believing is strictly forbidden.

Qur’an

Qur’an, message from Allah, The Most Gracious

The third Iman (pillar of faith) is belief in the books or messages of God. The Qur’an is the last message of Allah sent to the last missionary of God, Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) to carry it and reveal it to the entire mankind. The message of Qur’an has lasted for 23 years, 13 years in Mecca and 10 years in Medina. The Qur’an is the word and thought of God, it is published in the Arabic language and has 114 chapters (surahs) and 6.217 ayats. All the chapters of the Qur’an are gathered in one collection we call Mushaf.
The Qur’an is published as a law and guide in life, its laws lead towards happiness and progress of all people, so it would be useful for all the people to study it and follow its rules. The Muslims are especially responsible to study the Qur’an and to accommodate their lives with the regulations of the Qur’an because in that way they will reach happiness in the present and in the future world. The Qur’an is universal and modern and it will be the source of knowledge and enlightenment for all the generations of the mankind till the day of Judgment. The Qur’an teaches us to treat non-Muslims in a good and righteous way. The Qur’an explicitly forbids insulting the religious beliefs of the non-Muslims or to harm their property. It is the rule of Qur’an: “Your religion to you, and ours to us,” which means: “Tell the non-Muslims: “We will not insult your religion, and you don’t  insult ours.” Our Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) has said: I will blame the one who insults or harms a non-Muslim in front of Allah at the Day of Judgment.”Every Muslim should learn the surah Fatiha from the Qur’an by heart and at least four shorter surahs in order to perform salah, and it is especially praiseful to learn the Arabic letters and read the Qur’an regularly because it is one of the most valuable ibadahs, deeds that will be plentifully rewarded in the present and the future world by Allah.
The Qur’an should be learned properly, with the correct pronunciation of the harfs and application of the rules of tajweed. When we learn the Qur’an we should focus our mind toward Allah and beg Him to show us the way of Qur’an. Believers must get a translated version of the Qur’an on their language and read the translation regularly, too, so they can enjoy the beauty of the thoughts, advices and premonitions of the Qur’an.
